New Websites

I just designed a new website for my brother’s garage Steve’s Restorations and Hot Rods. Check it out! He’s awesome.

In other site design news, I’m in the process of designing version 2.0 of the Draculatron site. It’s cleaner, and pared down. Keep it on your radar over the next week or so. I’m excited for it.

Everything’s working (or seems to be.) I’ve had a weird issue with Twitter digests double posting, that I’ve hopefully resolved by switching over to a weekly digest instead of daily digest of my tweets.

I don’t use twitter everyday and I certainly don’t post here every day, so it should balance out the tweets to content ratio a bit.

I’ve uploaded some old sketchs that are fun to the gallery and that’s a good thing.

Also, made some updates to PJHale.com.

Now to send out resumes.

This blog is probably going to be a little bit sketchbook, a little bit diary and a little bit what’s happening in New York, in design, in whatever.

Primarily it will be a repository for the finished projects and works in process that I don’t want to keep on my main portfolio site, PJHale.com.

Over time I’ll just throw shit in that entertains me.

The name, Prometheus James, is a nickname coined by a friend of mine when we were going to college together in Boston. I liked it, so I’ve used it for various online groups, when the time came that I got the blog itch (it’s treatable with a topical antibiotic) I bought the domain name and ran with it. Pretty boring, actually.

But yeah, I ramble and rant and this is where I’ll throw it.

The new site is up, running. The theme’s more or less intact, save for some tweaking over the next few. The content will go up slowly over the next few days.
